Mamelodi Sundowns have won the race for the signature of Siyanda Ndlovu after Orlando Pirates failed to reach an agreement with the player, Soweto Watch Sports can exclusively reveal.

The highly-rated star had emerged as a serious target for the Buccaneers in recent weeks, but negotiations ultimately broke down, allowing the Betway Premiership champions to step in and take control of the deal.

Sources with direct knowledge of the negotiations have informed MastarSports that Ndlovu has agreed personal terms with Sundowns, with the move now effectively concluded.

The remaining administrative processes are being finalized before the club makes the transfer official.

Barring any unexpected last-minute developments, Sundowns are expected to unveil Ndlovu as their newest signing next week, adding yet another promising talent to an already star-studded squad.

The capture is another statement of intent from the Brazilians, who continue to flex their muscle in the transfer market ahead of a demanding campaign that includes domestic and continental ambitions. Securing a player who was also on Orlando Pirates’ radar further highlights Sundowns’ ability to outmaneuver their closest rivals when it matters most.

While neither club has commented publicly on the deal, all indications are that Ndlovu’s next destination will be Chloorkop, with an official announcement now appearing to be only a matter of time.
