Proteas Women Fall Short of Final, But Leave the World Cup With Pride

South Africa’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup dream came to an end after a 40-run defeat to England in the semi-final at The Oval.England posted a competitive 169/5 before the Proteas were restricted to 129/8 in their 20 overs.

Despite moments of resilience, South Africa struggled to build partnerships during the chase as England controlled the contest from start to finish.
